Stop The Silence!

Stop the silence, was my plea

soon after my beloved died

when the house was a huge void

brimming over with his absence

Slowly the quiet embraced me

wrapped me in the solitude

I’ve always craved to write 

to contemplate and read

It brought me comfort,  

space and time and the joy

of creating something new.

I’ve learned to love the silence.

Don’t let it stop!
