L’Engle Project
I’m taking an author whose work I’ve loved for years and have read most of, and am studying it from a new vantage point.
Rereading and noticing where her own life informs that of a character. ie a priest who knows and loves St John the Divine cathedral as she does.
A getaway in Connecticut, a place she knew well. A pianist’s passion and drive to perfect her skill reflects her own dedication to and being absorbed in her writing….
Also she consistently highlights the accomplishments and knowledge of women.
Her understanding of time is another persistent thread in this author’s work. FCC
Re listening intently/ concert. ‘That is how one should listen to God’..
