Front Porch Cathedral
Sitting in the birdsong of a summer Sunday morning
in the meditative silence of a quiet city street
a sense of awe and worship overwhelms
and I know the presence of our Godde
is breathing in the shadowed breeze
listening, speaking to my spirit
guiding yet another day with
hope and joy and peace
received with praise
within a bursting
thankful heart
